Merz Aesthetics Rolls Out “Confidence to Be” Branding Platform and Other Changes

Merz is now three independently operating businesses: medical aesthetics, therapeutics and consumer care.

Merz Aesthetics is launching its new “confidence to be” branding platform following the conclusion of the company’s reorganization.

Merz is now three independently operating businesses: medical aesthetics, therapeutics and consumer care.

“The new brand for Merz Aesthetics is an expression of our purpose — we exist to fuel confidence by helping people look better, feel better and live better. We want everyone to have the confidence to be their best self,” says Bob Rhatigan, Global CEO, Merz Aesthetics, in a news release.

In the last six months, Merz Aesthetics has also:

Adopted a new operating structure: Merz Aesthetics remains family owned as a part of Merz Group, which has existed for more than 112 years; the business however, is led by an independent and empowered leadership team fully focused on aesthetic medicine.

Established the Global Leadership Team: The global leadership team, composed of top industry leaders across nine nationalities representing various cultures, ethnicities and genders, was finalized with new hires Samantha Kerr, Ph.D. as Chief Scientific Officer and Karl Kokrhoun as Chief Financial Officer.

Implemented a new operating model: the new model is comprised of four geographic regions: Asia Pacific (APAC), Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Latin America (LATAM) and North America (NA). Each region is responsible for the adaptation and implementation of global strategies. This operating model further aligns the business with our customers and allows for agile country-level commercial execution.

Moved the global aesthetics headquarters to Raleigh, N.C.
