“Complementary and Alternative Medicine” (CAM) has become a catch-phrase for all manner of unstudied or not-rigorously-studied interventions. That means it includes promising interventions as well as some questionable ones. Dermatologists can look at the data that are published to find options that may actually benefit patients.
