As we navigate the end of this COVID journey, we struggle to slowly get back to “normal,” and meetings such as Cosmetic Surgery Forum (CSF) are a part of that process. It is healthy to be together, and we are looking forward greatly to that possibility. Having said that, CSF has always prioritized content and experience over profit. Safety is an important part of that calculus and we will be requiring proof of vaccination for all staff, attendees, and exhibitors at CSF 2021.

This decision was not made without serious consideration of the challenges it might bring for some individuals, notwithstanding our individual right to choose for ourselves about being vaccinated. As a host, CSF is responsible to consider the safety of the community as a whole. We realize that some of our partners and colleagues may not be able to—or may choose not to—participate in our 2021 event. We look forward to connecting with them again in the future!

Alongside proof of vaccination, we will be incorporating other safety measures, such as requiring masks (unless the situation changes for the better prior to the meeting) and a visual system to easily determine which level of social distancing a particular attendee desires. Additionally, we are working closely with the JW Marriott on enhanced cleaning and safety measures within the facility and protocols for food delivery.

We look forward to having all who wish to attend CSF 2021 and take our job to protect you seriously. This means that we won’t cut corners, won’t prioritize profit over safety, and won’t hold the meeting unless we can assure you will be in a safe place.
