Laser for Oncychomycosis Cleared

Recently FDA-cleared for the temporary increase of clear nail in patients with onychomycosis, Sciton's ClearSense handpiece provides optimum laser delivery for JOULE treatment to safely provide effective treatment for skin and nail rejuvenation. ClearSense offers physicians the ability to offer multiple aesthetic treatments in one laser platform, making the most of their investment and increasing their revenue, Sciton says. According to the company, treatment of all 10 toes takes no longer than 15 to 20 minutes, after which patients can return to regular activities immediately. Clinical studies demonstrate that 79 percent of patients treated with ClearSense have an increase in clear nail, according to the company. Sciton.com
