The Women's Dermatologic Society, sponsored by Glytone, will hold a “Look Before You Leap” Media Day 2013 on January 15, a series of desk-side appointments with the editorial community focusing on the pitfalls, complications, problems, and myths surrounding skin care and dermatology topics. Founded in 1973, The Women's Dermatologic Society is an organization dedicated to helping dermatologists fulfill their greatest potential and in making a contribution to dermatology and society. The event features 22 leading and up-and-coming dermatologists who will address such topics as laser risks and complications, skin cancer and sun safety alerts, and hair myths, misdiagnoses and missed opportunities. Editors are invited to make appointments for the topics of most interest and will be visited by the appropriate team in the privacy of their offices.
