La Roche-Posay's launched the Effaclar MAT Daily Mattifying + Pore-Refining Moisturizer, a formula that contains a unique combination of ingredients that neutralizes shine for lastingly matte, clear, and balanced skin with tightened pores, according to the company. The product is designed for patients with hyperseborrhea, in which large quantities of sebum are secreted, causing pores to look enlarged and the skin to appear shiny and greasy. Effaclar MAT contains sebulyse, an advanced sebum-targeting active ingredient more powerful than zinc, which enables the product to more effectively minimize sebum from the start. In-vivo tests have shown that Sebulyse significantly diminishes the appearance of pore size (21 percent) and shine (32 percent), according to the company's date.
