At its recent annual meeting in Miami, The American Academy of Dermatology introduced a mobile app of evidence-based clinical guidelines for diagnosing and treating psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. The free app includes a clinical decision tree; reference guide for diagnoses; arthritic diagnostic checklist and scoring; clinical recommendations for all available therapies; a guide to topical therapy and methotrexate treatment, phototherapy dosing guidelines; CPT and HCPCS codes and a treatment reimbursement algorithm; and case studies and treatment algorithm.
