Although benzoyl peroxide is an essential element of topical acne therapy for most patients, clinicians are writing fewer prescriptions for the agent, observes Hilary Baldwin, MD, Associate Professor and Vice Chair of the Department of Dermatology at SUNY Brooklyn.
