Stelara Approved for Self-Administration

The FDA has approved Stelara (ustekinumab) for self-administration. Previously intended for subcutaneous administration under the supervision of a physician, Stelara can now be administered by patients at home. The drug is approved for the treatment of adult patients with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis.
