Ellzey Coding Solutions Introduces ICD-10 for Dermatology Manual
Ellzey Coding Solutions, Inc., recently released an ICD-10
coding manual specifically for dermatologists. The 2014 ICD-10 for Dermatology program
is a tool that can be used to prepare dermatologists and staff with what they
need to know about the ICD-10-CM diagnosis coding system for the Oct. 1, 2014
transition deadline. According to Ellzey Coding Solutions, this manual is a
dermatology-specific guide that teaches ICD-10 diagnosis coding using
real-world dermatology examples. The 100-page guide covers the history of
ICD-10, reviews all elements and rules of ICD-10 in detail, and teaches how to
code in ICD-10 using four simple steps. It includes 12 typical dermatology
diagnoses with an explanation on how to fully code each in ICD-10. It also includes
the all-new CMS-1500 claim form that will go into effect in 2014 and a step-by-step
transition plan.
The guide is part of three-part program. The three-part ICD-10 for Dermatology package includes a 100-page training guide, plus more than 350 pages of dermatology-specific ICD-9 and ICD-10 codes, a CD-ROM with a three-hour training presentation that covers the manual and includes a PDF of the ICD-10 manual, and a complete set of 2014 Dermatology Quik-Piks, including the ICD-9 to ICD-10 Conversion Quik-Piks that list the 300 most common ICD-9 codes converted to ICD-10. The set costs $269 plus shipping and handling. For more information, visit www.ellzeycodingsolutions.com.
