When it comes to sunscreen selection, consumers may benefit from an assessment of a product's specific formulation rather than simply a “Broad Spectrum” claim, according to a poster presented at last month's Fall Clinical Dermatology Conference (Ouyang, et al.). The poster analyzed the critical wavelength of 150 sunscreen formulations or prototypes.
