Caliber Imaging & Diagnostics Appoints Robert P. Fischmann VP of Operations

Caliber Imaging & Diagnostics, formerly Lucid, Inc., has appointed Robert P. Fischmann to the role of Vice President of Operations, a newly created position.

Mr. Fischmann's responsibilities at Caliber I.D. will include managing all of the Company's production control, production process development, quality systems, purchasing, shipping/ receiving, customer support and FDA compliance activities. He will also liaise with CEO Michael Hone on manufacturing plans and future innovations, and consult on product design for manufacturability.

Michael Hone, Chief Executive Officer of Caliber I.D., in a statement. “Robert will report directly to me, and I am confident he will excel in overseeing the direction, strategy, planning and execution of our manufacturing operations activities."

Mr. Fischmann, age 54, is a seasoned executive with more than three decades of experience in management and operations roles within technically oriented product companies. Between 1981 and 2011, he held positions of increasing responsibility at Eastman Kodak Company. Most recently, he served as Director-Worldwide Operations and Customer Service & Vice President, Prepress Solutions. In this role he was responsible for all manufacturing operations, customer service engineering, and field technical assistance within Eastman Kodak's $1.6B Prepress Solutions business. He holds a BS degree in mechanical engineering from Union College, an MS degree in manufacturing and engineering management from Clarkson University and an MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology.
