20 young doctors have been awarded generous scholarships from twenty leaders of the International Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ISDS) to attend an ISDS medical conference.

This year, the scholarships were awarded to young doctors from Europe, Asia, Latin America (including Cuba), and the United States. The winners receive $2,000 dollars for travel and participation in the Annual ISDS Meeting. This educational opportunity exposes young doctors to dermatologic surgery at the international level so that when the recipient of the award returns to a University dermatology setting, he or she can assist in the education and training of others interested in dermatologic surgery.

The ISDS encourages education and research in the field of dermatologic surgery and relates to the experienced professional as well as the latest generation of dermatologists around the world.
