Cetaphil® Marks Fifth Year of Support for CSDF and Camp Wonder

08/28/2016

Galderma Laboratories, L.P., makers of Cetaphil, is celebrating the fifth consecutive year of its "Meaningphil™" partnership with the Children's Skin Disease Foundation (CSDF) and Camp Wonder.

Galderma and Cetaphil provide product and grants, volunteers and sponsored activities as a part of their partnership. Throughout the five-year partnership, Galderma and the Cetaphil brand have raised over $700,000 to help support the Camp.

Camp Wonder is a medically staffed summer program that invites children ages seven to 16 who live with severe and life-threatening skin diseases to experience the joys of being a kid at summer camp. The week-long camp is funded by the CSDF.

This year, CSDF hosted 100 children in Livermore, Calif. for a week of various summer camp activities from June 20th to June 25th, 2016.  The theme was "CSDF Olympics" and Cetaphil invited U.S. Paralympic athlete, Megan Absten, for a surprise visit to Camp Wonder, where she was able to kick off the games and speak to the children about her journey of achieving great things in the face of adversity, while empowering them to do the same.   There were also Cetaphil-sponsored activities such as a bean bag toss, and a prize wheel where campers spun to win assorted Cetaphil merchandise, product, and candy.
