GEMME Webinar Series to Assess Impact of Essential Mask Wearing on Skin

Assessing the impact of essential mask wearing, the first of a series of four webinars from GEMME (Galderma Excellence Multichannel Medical Education) launches next month. “Under the mask: the consequences of essential mask wearing,” will stream Saturday, May 8, with Drs. Luiz Almeida and James Q. Del Rosso and Prof. Gabriella Fabbrocini. Registration is now open.

The “Unmasking facial skin & dermatoses” includes a total of four webinars, which will also address mask wearing and rosacea, “maskne,” and barrier function. 

Galderma says it is “committed to continue our educational support to help the dermatology community navigate through the additional burden placed on you and your patients by the COVID-19 pandemic safety measures.”

Each live stream will offer the opportunity to interact with the faculty during a Q&A session. Professor Jerry Tan of the University of Western Ontario in Canada, will facilitate the webinars.
