It's Eczema Awareness Month
NEA is highlighting the diversity of patient experiences.
Recognizing that the daily impact and overall burden of eczema for each individual can differ greatly from person to person and within a person's lifetime, the National Eczema Association (NEA) is highlighting various aspects of the disease during Eczema Awareness Month in October.
NEA has launched a new video, focusing on the diversity of experiences of living with and caring for eczema, and is empowering the eczema community to share their unique experiences through stories and images via social media using #thisismyeczema, #1in31Million, the ongoing campaign hashtag, #UnhideECZEMA, and others.
Each week in October will home in on a different aspect of eczema: Heterogeneity, Triggers and Types, Burden of Disease, Treatment, Support and Shared Decision-Making.
