Martha Stewart Describes Neurotoxin Preferences
BOTOX Cosmetic’s platysma bands indication has a fan in Martha Stewart.
The keynote speaker at the 2025 American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) Annual Meeting in Orlando, Florida, said she visits her dermatologist “once every couple months.” Gesturing to her jaw and neck, Stewart said she gets “a tiny bit [of neurotoxin] here and here, and that’s all.”
Told she looks phenomenal, Stewart responded: “I look phenomenal because I take care.”
The US Food and Drug Administration approved BOTOX Cosmetic for temporary improvement in the appearance of moderate-to-severe vertical bands connecting the jaw and neck (platysma bands) in adults, making BOTOX Cosmetic the first product of its kind to go beyond the face and the first with four aesthetic indication areas.
