Suneva Medical, Inc., is rolling out Regenica® Rejuvenating Dual Serum, the newest addition to the Regenica® skin care line.

The dual chamber serum is created via growth factor technology that combines a 95 percent concentration of MRCx^TM—a unique, proprietary blend of growth factors, cytokines and proteins—and anti-aging ingredients including advanced copper peptides, amino acids, antioxidants and plant-based extracts.

In an ongoing clinical study, women were asked to use Regenica® Rejuvenating Dual Serum on their entire face, twice daily. More than 97 percent of patients were satisfied with the serum at 30 days and would also recommend the product to a friend. When asked about the product’s texture and color, 100 percent of patients were satisfied; 97 percent were satisfied with the smell.

Improvements were also reported as early as 14 days, with continued improvement seen at 30 days in the following parameters:

 Reduction in the appearance of fine lines—patients reported 17 percent reduction in the appearance of fine lines as early as 14 days, with continued improvement to 22 percent seen at 30 days.

 Skin firmness—investigator reported 26 percent improvement in the appearance of skin’s firmness as early as 14 days, with continued improvement to 31 percent seen at day 30.

 Skin radiance—investigator reported 18 percent improvement in the skin radiance at day 14, with continued improvement to 31 percent seen at 30 days.

 Skin hydration—corneometry measures showed a 13 percent improvement in skin hydration at day 14, with continued improvement to 33 percent at 30 days.

“There is very solid science behind this product line,” says Ava Shamban, MD, a dermatologist and assistant clinical professor of dermatology at UCLA. She spoke to Practical Dermatology and Modern Aesthetics at a soft launch for the product held in New York City in late March. “There is instant gratification, and over time, we see even more improvement.”

The growth factors in this skin care line help replace and replenish the very ones we all have at birth, explains Gail Naughton,PhD, the scientist who developed the Regenica line.  “An unborn child could have surgery, yet have no scars at birth,” she says. Dr. Naughton studied what was unique about the prenatal environment and found a way to mimic it to create the growth factors.

Available at select doctor’s office, Regenica® Rejuvenating Dual Serum can be used twice daily to improve the overall appearance of skin on the face, neck and décolletage. It does not contain SPF, and should be used with sunscreen. The Regenica® product line includes Regenica® Renew SPF 15, Regenica® Replenishing Crème, Regenica® Revitalizing Eye Crème, Regenica® Repair Complex and Regenica® Recovery Gel.
