There’s big news coming out of SENTÉ this week. Fresh of the announcement that they closed on a $5 million financing round, the company also appointed Laurent Combredet as President and Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Combredet was General Manager at Allergan, Medical Dermatology and Skin Care Division (including the Skinmedica line of products), where he was responsible for the management of a $700M medical grade skin care business including international operations.

SENTÉ plans to use the new financing to increase their domestic sales force, support the launch of new products, pursue international expansion and invest in new technologies.

SENTÉ's product line is based on low-molecular-weight heparin sulfate (HSA), which is necessary for for skin hydration and rejuvenation. SENTÉ products are available via physicians and medically supervised spas.
