As an extension of the Sun Heroes initiative, CeraVe's Sun Safety Day at Wrigley Field in partnership with Amy Brodsky, MD brought sun protection education to attendees as the Chicago Cubs hosted the Atlanta Braves.

Dr. Brodsky founded Sun Safety Day in 2012 to raise awareness for the importance of sun protection for all ages and to educate families on the importance of sun safe habits. On June 18, up to 40,000 fans in attendance at the Cubs-Braves game received a sample of either CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 or La Roche-Posay Anthelios Mineral Non-Tinted SPF 50. Samples were handed out at all gates at Wrigley Field and at Gallagher Way. Additionally, CeraVe provided sun safety tips at multiple touchpoints throughout the game to ensure a safe, educational and fun day for all.

Including its range of hydrating mineral face and body sunscreens, dermatologist-developed therapeutic skincare brand CeraVe offers a variety of products that contain the combination of ceramides 1, 3 and 6-II that are essential to restoring and maintaining the skin’s natural barrier.
