Swann Dermatology Partners Merges with Forefront Dermatology

Swann Dermatology Partners (SDP), a multi-location practice based in Springfield, Missouri, announced that it has officially joined Forefront Dermatology, a nationwide dermatology network backed by private equity firm Partners Group.

The firms announced the deal, finalized December 29, 2025, which a press release said was facilitated by healthcare investment bank Physician Growth Partners (PGP). SDP comprises three board-certified dermatologists and offers a full spectrum of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services across five southwest Missouri locations, including Springfield, Branson, and Hollister. The practice is especially recognized for its skin cancer expertise, including Mohs micrographic surgery.

“This transaction marks an important milestone for Swann Dermatology,” said Michael Swann, MD, founder of SDP. “PGP’s experience and leadership were instrumental. I am thrilled about partnering with Forefront to continue to bring the best clinical care to the region.”

Ezra Simons, Partner at PGP, noted the long-term planning behind the deal.
