The Maui Strong Fund has been set up by the Hawai’i Community Foundation to help those affected by the Maui wildfires.

VitaSea is donating 100% of their proceeds from online sales to the Maui Strong Fund through the end of September. To kickstart this initiative, VitaSea is donating the first $10,000.

The Maui Strong Fund has been set up by the Hawai’i Community Foundation, which has waived all fees so 100% of VitaSea’s money will go towards supporting the community through services including shelter, food, financial assistance and other needs as they arise. 

In early August 2023, a series of wildfires broke out in Hawaii, predominantly on the island of Maui. The fires devastated the historic town of Lahaina. So far, at least 96 people in the town of Lahaina have died, according to media reports.

• The Salvation Army’s Hawaiian and Pacific Islands Division
