Thanks and Best Wishes
Practical Dermatology® wishes Paul Winnington the best of luck as he begins a new chapter. Practical Dermatology magazine has benefited from his involvement since its launch. Throughout his tenure as Editorial Director, Paul was involved in the development of all content produced in the journal and on PracticalDermatology.com. He ensured the quality of the content was top-notch and on target to meet the brand’s mission of offering our audience practical advice to improve their practices and stay up to date on the latest treatments and trends in dermatology.
His impact, professionalism, congeniality, and collaborative nature will be missed, but we will continue to strive to offer useful, relevant, quality content that benefits our audience. We know Paul will continue to find success in his new venture and thank him for his guidance over the years.
Ode to Paul
It is going to be a lonely ride without the great PW at the wheel…Paul has been my guiding light and a steady voice during my tenure as Chief Medical Editor of Practical Dermatology magazine, and it was an absolute privilege to work with him. His inspirations for the editorials, visions for expanding the journal’s scope, and maintaining balance (and even peace in the galaxy) will be sorely missed by all who have worked closely with him.
I know PW will be a success in his next journey, but I will miss him a lot…maybe he will be the subject of the next rant…
Bon Voyage, PW. Doctor X will be searching the skies for you…all the best.

Best in Class
It has been my pleasure to work with Paul Winnington during the past 15+ years as Chief Cosmetic Surgery Editor and before that as a contributor to Practical Dermatology. His advice, editing, and overall tenor have been incredibly impactful on me as a writer and person.
In all the time I have worked with Paul, he has always been even-keeled, open-minded, and generous to a fault. That isn’t something that many people can claim or achieve, yet it sums up Paul perfectly.
I am sorry to see him move on but know that with Paul, relationships count, so we will stay in touch. Additionally, I know that he has left the magazine in great shape due to his careful and methodical devotion to creating a “best-in-class” product. He will be greatly missed.
