A series of four treatments with the TruSculpt Flex, a neuromuscular electrical stimulator device, yields a modest, but appreciable improvement in tone and definition of the quadriceps, with an average increase in thigh circumference of 1cm (range 0.7 cm – 1.5 cm). Patients interpret this improvement by noting their jeans fit differently, but more frequently comment on their functional gains—appreciating that it is easier for them to climb multiple flights of stairs, perform squats and lunges, and run longer distances without leg fatigue.

We recently conducted a randomized controlled trial, currently under peer review, that found a statistically significant increase in the duration of time a treated individual could hold a single-leg wall sit, ranging from +55.7 percent to +119.3 percent, compared to baseline testing.
