Energy-based device manufacturer Alma has introduced Alma Harmony and Alma IQ.

Alma Harmony is the latest version of the company's multi-technology aesthetics workstation and is available for sale in the U.S. This system, according to a press release, builds on a 20-year legacy and is FDA-cleared for over 135 indications, making it the most versatile workstation of its kind. It includes enhanced versions of Alma's proprietary technologies such as the AFT intense pulsed light, long-pulsed Nd:YAG 1064 nm laser, ablative 2940 nm laser, and Q-switched 1064 nm ClearLift Pro laser. The system also now features a non-ablative 1570 nm ClearSkin Pro laser, which has been clinically shown to improve skin texture by up to 50%, and a precise 530 nm diode VascuPen for detailed vascular work.

"Alma's commitment to innovation is reflected in their product introductions, which not only enhance the versatility of existing technologies but also expand the scope to address a wider range of needs," noted Jeffrey Hsu, MD, a board-certified dermatologist at Oak Dermatology, in greater Chicago, in a press release. "Alma Harmony underscores the company's dedication to understanding and responding to the evolving needs of their customers with effective, adaptable, and forward-thinking solutions."

Alongside Alma Harmony, Alma has also launched Alma IQ, a custom skin analysis and consultation system. The system features 10 light modes to scan multiple skin layers in 10 seconds, aiming to improve patient education and personalize treatment plans. These innovations were announced at the Alma Academy Forum in Denver, Colorado.
