Isdin is rolling out Nutraseb™ Facial Cream, a new steroid-free topical Rx for the multi-symptom management of facial seborrhea and seborrheic dermatitis (SD). 

Nutraseb™ is a fragrance free, water-based emulsion formulated to target all four aspects of SD: inflammation, fungus, sebum, and scaling. 

In one study that evaluated the efficacy of Nutraseb™ for mild facial seborrheic dermatitis, the cream was successful in 87.5 percent of patients with mild dermatitis, and 78.8 percent of patients considered the cream to be good or excellent. A significant number of patients had a decrease in erythema as well. A second study demonstrated that after 20 people used the treatment for 21 days, more than 90 percent reported improvement of their symptoms, with the added bonus of skin moisturization.¹
