Kenvue to Present New Data Sets at EADV Congress
Kenvue announced the presentation of seven new data sets at the 2024 European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) Congress this week in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
The studies will feature Kenvue’s Aveeno and Neutrogena brands, “demonstrating the key to improved skin and hair outcomes through proactive use,” the company said in a press release.
The data sets include:
- Histological and Clinical Signs of Skin Pre-Aging Vary Across Fitzpatrick Skin Phototypes, conducted by Thomas Shyr, BS., Principal Scientist, Global Translational Science, Skin Health & Beauty, et al (Poster ID: P2670)
- Combination of Retinol and Carnosine Addresses Pre-aging Insights and Delivers Preventative and Aging Treatment Benefits via Antioxidant, Anti-Glycation and Cellular Activity, conducted by Ramine Parsa, Ph.D., Research Manager, Global Upstream Preclinical Science Platform, Skin Health & Beauty, et al (Poster ID: 2690)
- A solution for firming the aging neck. Over 16 weeks, a skin cream containing a novel, patented microdipeptide, bakuchiol and other brightening and firming active ingredients demonstrated statistically significant improvement in signs of aging in the neck and decolletage areas in women ages 47-65. - An effective eczema regimen for children. The use of a non-drying, gentle, oat-containing moisturizing wash and a 1% colloidal oatmeal moisturizing cream demonstrated a statistically significant reduction in eczema severity as soon as day 1 in children aged 3 months to 6 years. (Poster ID: P2806)
