New LED Mask Targets Acne, Redness, Aging in One Session

05/12/2025

Smuuv Body has introduced the Lulu Pro LED Mask in what it says is the first at-home device to deliver five clinically validated wavelengths in a single treatment.

A press release from the manufacturer reported that the mask, designed for 10-minute daily use, targets acne, redness, aging, and skin tone using Detox Blue (460nm), Yellow (590nm), Deep Red (650nm), Near Infrared (850nm), and Deep Near Infrared (1064nm) light. The Lulu Pro device differs from most consumer LED masks tby delivering simultaneous wavelengths for layered therapeutic effects, the manufacturer said.

“Most at-home LED devices force consumers to choose between targeting acne, aging, or skin tone—but not all at once," said Dr. Andrea Chen, Chief Scientific Advisor at Smuuv Body, in the news release. "The Lulu Pro eliminates this compromise by delivering five clinically effective wavelengths simultaneously, creating a synergistic effect that addresses both immediate concerns and long-term skin health."

In a four-week clinical study, 99% of participants reported better skin texture or clarity; 96% saw reduced redness and improved tone. Continued use of the mask over 12 weeks led to enhanced firmness, fewer breakouts, and improved barrier function, according to the press release.

The mask is now at the manufacturer website and select retailers, retailng for around $649.
